Week 1

Having grown up in the city of Barcelona through my childhood and adolescence explains my early interest in the fashion and luxury industry. From a very young age, I was lucky enough to travel and live in other countries, which intensified and reassured my passion in this specialist area.

I have a strong background in business and experience in marketing. I currently hold a BSc in Business Administration with Marketing & Advertising and two minors in Accounting and Management Information Systems. My pursuit of the sport of tennis allowed me to move from Barcelona to the United States to compete at a high level while working towards my college degree. During those four years in America, I learned how to work effectively within a team environment and live with individuals from around the world. Having this experience makes me curious to learn about new cultures and explore new places.

Since a very young age, I have always been knowledgeable in regard to some of the pathways available in the fashion field and during higher education I gained some work experience within the retail industry at Inditex. I also have experience in digital marketing and some specific examples of my experience applying to this area of work are my previous internships and my current job as a Marketing Executive. After joining HSI during the last year, I gained extensive experience in strategic marketing, social media insights & behaviors, and marketing interactions. 

My intention is to continue to pursue professional development and education, get to know more about the fashion industry, and gain new experiences to fulfill my goals in the luxury sector. I believe strongly in my personal and analytical skills and the chance to further my studies in the luxury sector is something I am passionate about doing, in order to further my career. I have demonstrated my diligence and outstanding work ethic through my academic progress to date, finishing my degree with the highest possible status. 

I aspire to be the best version of myself possible, with the will to make the projects I am involved with better by applying knowledge and sharing my personality with the students I connect with. I have developed this personality over the past years more extensively through my higher education and career in which I moved to a new country and developed myself in many ways and I believe it will make myself stand out and be someone who can bring good values such as commitment, enthusiasm, and hard work. 

I am very excited to see what the future holds for me.
